Congratulations to Dr. Hugo Baggio Brandão! Hugo successfully defended his Harvard Biophysics PhD entitled "Principles of chromosome loop formation by cohesin and condensin protein complexes", impressing both his audience and dissertation advisory committee with a clear talk and lots of insightful work into genome structure and loop extrusion!

Come and join us!

In a new joint project with Fei Chen's lab, we are looking to add a new Technical Associate I / Research assistant to our team to work on an exciting new project.

The goal of the project is to develop next-generation genome-editing methods for labeling endogenous loci of interest.

This project is part of the Broad Institute's new Gene Regulation Observatory.

As of March 1st, we have joined the KI which specializes in Cancer Research as extramural members - this will be a great catalyst and community for our cancer-related work.
